NTPC has announced recently to conduct the recruitment for the posts of Engineering Executive Trainee, EET (Eng.), 2016 in discipline of Mechanical, Electronics, Civil, Instrumentation and Electrical. Candidates can submit their application by following some predetermined steps.
Important Dates
Online application for GATE can be submitted from 02-09-2016 to 01-10-2016. Applicants can be registered for NTPC from 20-12-2016 to 18-01-2016.
Eligibility for EET
Candidates having Bachelor's degree in technology/AMIE or Engineering with a minimum of 65% marks are applicable. Students, appearing for the last semester or final year examinations are also eligible to submit the application form. Applicants born before 17-01-1987 will not be considered eligible for exam as upper age limit for the application is 27 years as on 18-01-2016.
NTPC recruitment through Gate
Interested candidates are required to be appeared for GATE 2016 exam. Selection of the candidates for interviews and group discussion will be done on the marks obtained by them in the entrance exam. A merit list of those candidates securing a minimum number of marks in each of the subjects will be published later.
Appointees will get the basic pay of Rs. 24900/- during the training period. After successfully completing the training session of one year, applicants will be appointed as Assistant Manager with emoluments of Rs. 24900-3%-50500 and basic pay worth of Rs. 25,650.
Service Bond
Applicants of General and OBC categories are required to execute a bond worth of Rs. 2,50,000/-, to work within the company for 3 years as EET.
Application Fee
Candidates can submit their application fee in any of the branches of SBI with account no.- 30987919993, at CAG Branch, New Delhi on behalf of NTPC. By the 'pay-in-slip', fee can be deposited in the Bank.
Candidates, belonging to the General or OBC category, are required to pay Rs. 150 as their application fee while the candidates of other reserved categories, need not required to deposit any kind of application fee.
How to apply
In order to submit their application form, applicants have to register for GATE 2016 by submitting the online application form. After getting the registration number from the admit card, candidates have to apply online for NTPC ET, 2016 from the website on or before 18-01-2016. Candidates are advised to go through the official notification of the recruitment once before applying for the particulars.
