a. For B.P.Ed: Candidates should have appeared or passed three year degree examination recognized by any university in A.P. or any other university recognized as equivalent thereto and should have Completed 19 years of age on 01.07.2012.

Abbreviations stand for: SC – Scheduled Caste, ST – Scheduled Tribe, OBC – Other Backward Classes, GEN – General, i.e.Unreserved, PWD – Persons with Disabilities, VH – Visually Handicapped, HI – Hearing Impaired, OH – Orthopedically Handicapped, EXS – Ex-Servicemen, EX-1 - Disabled Ex-servicemen/ Dependants of Ex-servicemen killed in action, Ex-2 - Ex servicemen (normal).

Reservation for PWD/ EXS is horizontal reservation and included in the vacancies of various categories.PWD candidates applying for Offices where vacancies are not reserved for them will be eligible for upper age limit as available to PWD candidates. Similarly EXS candidates applying in states where vacancies are not reserved for them will be eligible for age relaxation applicable to their parent categories (SC/ST/OBC) only.

RBI Assistant Posts Eligibility Criteria and Age Limit.
The Candidates has Between 18 and 28 years old (as on 01-05-2016). Candidates must have been born not earlier than 02/05/1985 and not later than 01/05/1995 (both days including) are only eligible to apply.
Relaxation in the Upper Age Limit: Upper age limit will be relaxed as under :

RBI Assistant Posts Application Fee .
Application Fee ` 400/- (Rupees Four Hundred only) are to be paid by OBC and General category candidates. Fees once paid will neither be refunded nor be adjusted against any future recruitment projects.
SC/ST/PWD/EXS/Staff is No fee (NIL) and OBC/General Candidates Rs.400/- Non Refundable .

Procedure for applying online
(1) Candidates are first required to go to Home Page of the RBI website www.rbi.org.in and click on the link “Recruitment for the post of Assistant” to open the On-Line Application Form.
(2) Candidates will have to enter their basic details and upload the photograph and signature in the online application form. Dibrugarh University conducts Common Entrance Exam for admission in various undergraduate engineering courses and medical programs. Before applying for the exam candidates are required to go through all the points required for them to give the exams. Only eligible candidates will be entertained.

Registration for the exam will likely to start in April 2016.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Candidate must be Indian citizen as well as permanent residence of Assam.
Candidate must have passed XII or qualifying examination with 50% aggregate for GE and OBC and 45% aggregate for SC, ST in combined English, Maths, Physics and Chemistry.
General Candidate must be in between 17 to 21 yrs as on 01-08-2016.
SC, ST candidates are relaxed in upper age limit by 3 years.

APPLICATION FORM

All the eligible candidates are required to fill the form online from the official website. There will be 3 options and candidates have to choose their desired course to which they want to apply for:

Course 1 – For Medical Courses Only (MBBS/BDS)
Course 2 – For Engineering Courses Only
Course 3 – For Both Engineering and Medical Courses.

After filling the form, the candidates are required to attain the print out of the registration form from the website.

FEE

The fee for the entrance exam is:

For MBBS/BDS – Rs. 900
For Engineering – Rs. 900
For Both Medical and Engineering – Rs. 1100

The fee is only taken by the SBI chalan that can be downloaded from the website and no other option is there to submit fee like in cash, cheque or draft. Candidates please take this very seriously.

After submitting the fee through chalan candidate is required to send the application form and chalan receipt to the university address followed with Course Option, Centre of Exam, Application Number and SBI Chalan’s Number written on the envelope. Candidates must retain a copy of both application form and chalan receipt for further reference.

ST (Plains) – 10%
SC – 7%
ST (Hills) – 5%
Physically Challenged – 3%
Tea Garden Labour Community (TGLC) – 1 seat/college
